Marriage

Marriage is a socially and legally recognized union between two individuals, built on mutual respect, equality, and commitment. For an NGO, marriage is viewed as a foundation for a healthy society, where awareness about legal rights, gender equality, prevention of child marriage, and empowerment of both partners is promoted to ensure safe and dignified relationships.

Marriage

Program Overview

The organization believes that every woman has the right to a dignified marriage without any financial burden. It has provided financial assistance for the marriages of 27 girls from economically weaker families. Out of these, 7 marriages were fully organized and sponsored by the organization itself.

The support includes essential wedding items such as ration (rice, flour, oil, spices), clothing, utensils, trolley bags, bridal accessories, and ornaments (anklets and toe rings) given as gifts. In several cases, direct financial assistance ranging from ₹5,100 to ₹11,000 has also been provided.

According to the audited financial report for the financial year 2024–25, a total of ₹33,307 was spent on marriage-related programs.

Additionally, the organization actively conducts awareness campaigns to prevent child marriage and to educate women about their marital and legal rights.
